A trio of contemporary homes

The Brief

These three homes were created to balance refined architecture with highly functional living. The project responds to its urban context, integrating layered landscaping and generous glazing.

Each home is thoughtfully planned to enhance everyday liveability, with light-filled kitchens and sculleries, improved ventilation strategies, and flexible ground-floor spaces that can adapt to changing needs. Split-level moments and feature stair elements are explored to add architectural interest while improving spatial flow and ceiling heights.

One residence takes advantage of its prominent corner position with an elevated roof terrace, envisioned as an outdoor retreat for entertaining and enjoying potential views. Across all three homes, the design focuses on passive design principles, privacy, and long-term comfort, resulting in a cohesive yet individually considered collection of residences.

The Concept

The Artisan is a modern, industrial luxury custom home, featuring red exposed recycled brickwork, and clever use of black exterior, and wood elements to tie in the finer details of this bespoke custom home. Built by luxury home builders, Oswald Homes.
